Intro

It has been a generation since the Apollo missions and the great leap forward in space exploration - it turns out that the best way for the four superpowers to keep the population pacified was indeed to give the malcontents somewhere to go. Mankind is looking forward to entering the 3rd millennium with permanent colonies on the Moon, Mars and its satellites, and there is great anticipation for the Discovery One mission to Jupiter.

Nobody is thinking too hard about the amazing series of coincidences that ushered in this second age of exploration - build the future, and the past will take care of itself...
